These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply when you use our website or communicate with Marks Insurance Agency ("Marks," "we," "us") by phone, email, or text. By using our site or services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who Can Use Our Services
Our website and services are intended for people who are at least 18 and located in the United States. We are licensed in Idaho and write coverage for Idaho risks.
2. Insurance Disclaimer
Marks Insurance Agency is a licensed insurance agency in Idaho representing Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance. Information on our website is general and is not an insurance offer, a binder, a quote, or professional advice. No coverage is started, changed, or ended through our website, by email, or by text message — coverage applies only when confirmed in writing by Marks Insurance Agency and the insurer. Always rely on your actual policy documents, which control in any conflict with anything on this site.
3. Acceptable Use
When using our website, please don't:
- Break any law or violate anyone's rights;
- Try to access areas or accounts you're not authorized to;
- Upload harmful code or interfere with the site; or
- Collect other users' information or send spam.
4. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
When you give us your mobile number and opt in, you agree to these SMS terms.
Program. Marks Insurance Agency sends customer care text messages to existing clients who have requested service or opted in to account-related texts. We use them to schedule and confirm annual renewal reviews, remind you of upcoming meetings, and reply to questions about your existing policies and coverage deadlines. Examples:
- "Marks Insurance Agency: Your annual policy review is scheduled for 6/12 at 2 PM. Reply C to confirm or call us to reschedule."
- "Reminder from Marks Insurance Agency: Your renewal review is tomorrow at 2 PM."
- "Marks Insurance Agency: We received your question about your current policy and will follow up shortly."
Consent. We only text clients who requested service or agreed to receive account-related texts. Consent isn't required to buy anything. We don't send marketing texts under this program. Every way you can give or withdraw that permission — on this website, in our office, or over the phone — is written out at How we get your permission to text you.
Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your service activity, typically 1–4 messages per month.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier.
Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to stop messages. We'll send one confirmation, and you won't get further texts. Opt back in anytime by texting us or contacting us.

Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery isn't guaranteed. Never use text messaging to report a claim or an emergency — call our office at (208) 263-3161 or the Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance 24/7 claims line at (888) 432-4527.
Privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Payments
Premium payments are made to Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance and are governed by your policy and the insurer's billing terms. Where a card payment is taken through this office, our Credit Card Refund Policy applies.
6. Our Content
Everything on our website — text, images, and software — belongs to or is licensed by Marks Insurance Agency. Don't copy or reuse it without our written permission. The Farm Bureau name and marks belong to their owners and are used here under our agency appointment.
7. Third-Party Links
Our site links to sites we don't control, including Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance's FB Hub payment and claims portal. We're not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave our site.
8. Disclaimers and Liability
Our website and services are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Marks Insurance Agency is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or our communications. Nothing here limits any obligation we owe you under Idaho insurance law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Bonner County, Idaho.

We may update these Terms. The "Last Updated" date shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes.
